Minnesota officer who killed Daunte Wright resigns along with police chief
Some time ago I’ve read an article about a police officer that „accidentaly” killed Black man. Kim Potter, the white Minnesota police officer who fatally shot the Black resident, Daunte Wright, during a traffic stop, and her chief of police, Tim Gannon, resigned on Tuesday. It happened after 2 nights of protests in the Minneapolis. A woman admitted that she wanted to use a stun gun, but instead of that she used normal gun.
Although in this case the use of a gun and the death of the
man were an unfortunate mistake, this is not the first time that the police
have abused their power over black people. The Black Lives Matter movement has
made people who have experienced injustice by the police take to the streets
and say out loud that they have had enough of it. I completely support current protests, because we cannot ignore such situations and justify them in any
way.

If you compare the stun gun with the real one, you start doubting the officer's explanation. They look very different and feel completely different in your hand - the shape, the weight, etc. Making a mistake like that seems very unlikely.
