Meatless school menu in France

I’ve read an article about latest situation in France. Namely, the mayor of Lyon decided to temporarily take meat from the menu in school canteens during the coronavirus pandemic. The reason that he have made such an unwise decision was that there was too little time  on breaks and the children couldn't get served if there was a meat and vegetarian menu to choose from. It is logical that this decision was met with a wave of criticism.  Meat and all meat preparations are very important components of the human diet, especiwlly when it comes to children. This decision also did not appeal to the farmers who went to the streets with banners. Being a vegetarian is personal choice and in my opinion taking meat from school’s menu was unreasonable and there are many other possible solutions how to safely use canteen without influencing students’ diet. For example taking lunch to classes and eating there. So in my judgement the decision was made too hastily andit is not supported by convin

CT Scan

Lately I’ve read an article about how a CT scan can uncover cancerous lung tumours when they are at an early enough stage so they can still be removed. Lung cancer is very dangerous and hard to diagnose, so experts expect that goverment will bring in routine CT scanning of smokers and ex-smokers in order to cut the huge death toll from lung cancer.  I think that it’s a wise idea, because many people now a days aren’t interested in their own health and they downplay the possible symptoms of a dangerous disease. Besides they think that something like that cannot touch them personally. But making routine examinations is really important and sometimes we should even force our family and friends to the them, for their own good. After all, it's better to pay for one visit to the doctor than a few years of chemotherapy caused by our ignorance. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/feb/14/ct-scan-catches-70-of-lung-cancers-at-early-stage-nhs-study-finds

Supporting the fight against COVID - 19 in developing countries

I’ve read an article named „Supporting the fight against Covid-19 in developing countries”.                   The article was about how this virus changed people’s lives and views on the world. The main topic of this text was a disease – Malaria, which is a huge problem in south-est Asia now. People in Laos especially in some of the most remote communities are struggling with this disease but now it’s even harder to get any medical help becuse of Covid. The British charity organization decided to help those people, they have taught them how to recognize Malaria’s symptoms and also bought some products for hospitals – disposable gloves and masks. It was very wise decision because now people can get proffesional help and don’t have to worry about Covid so much. For me it’s really teriffyieng, and I can’t belive that people rather prefare to suffer in their houses than go to the doctor and get help that they neeed . https://www.theguardian.com/advertiser-content/fighting-malaria/suppo
