Great Pacific Garbage Patch (also known as the Pacific trash vortex) -   a collection of various rubbish (most of them is plastic) that has been made by ocean currents, it’s located between California and Hawaii. Probably the mass of the drifting spot is 45–129 thousand tonnes, has an area of ​​1.6 million km2 and is made of 99.9% of plastics "The Ocean Cleanup" is a new device that was make by Dutch scientists. It catches plastic from the surface of water. What is extremely innovative is the fact that this device catches both heavy pieces of rubbish and microplastics and the least noticeable waste. This gadget is 500 meters long and it dives only 3 meters. It might seem not very deep, but it’s really effective idea to clean ocean from plastic.
